A public beta of Wave Corrector Professional Version 3.5 is now available.

This release provides some enhancements, most of which have been suggested by users. Some new functions have been added and some existing functions have been modified:

To download the public beta, click on the link below. The archive contains only the executable file wcbeta.exe plus a help file, a readme file and a licence file. No installer  is included. Installation instructions are given in the readme file.


Functional Limitations

Registered users of Wave Corrector PE will have access to the full functionality of the beta. If you are an unregistered user, the same limitations will apply as apply to the current release version; ie noise reduction will only be applied to the first 2 minutes of the file being processed; and only the first track of a multi-track wave file wll be saved in its entirety. Subsequent tracks will be shortened to 1 minute by having their middle sections removed.

The spectrogram display now reverts to overview if zoomed out too far for a valid spectrogram.
The spectrogram now updates during correction adjustment.
The spectrogram scale and mode now initialise correctly.
Fixed default encoder not properly updating after replacing an external encoder.
The merge open command has been modified to allow merging of very short files (less than 1 second).
The horizontal scale is now saved between sessions.
