I've learned a new trick when de-clicking files---reverse the file and then
de-click. I have a program that will reverse audio files--then I load it into
WaveCor and de-click--then reverse it back to original state. Because the leading edge of musical attacks is now at the end of the note I seem to get
fewer false positives, especially with percussive sounds. (scratches tend to look more symmetrical) I wonder if you could make an option to process the file backwards, or load it backwards (and save it forwards). It's difficult to listen to files backwards if you need to make manual repairs, so I would prefer processing backwards, but just loading it backwards and auto de-clicking works well with most lps.
